- How to set up WaiterMate on your tablet
To begin, connect to your WiFi. Once done follow the steps below to setup a tablet with WaiterMate. Alternatively you can watch the video linked at the end of this article.
1. Go to the Apple Store/Google Play Store.
2. Search "Microsoft Remote Desktop"
3. Download and Installed "Microsoft Remote Desktop"
4. Open the app up, and press the "+" icon at the top right hand corner
5. Press "Desktop"
6. Press "PC Name"
7. Type the IP address "192.168.0.100" and press "Done"
8. Press "User Account"
9. Press "Add User Account"
10. Type 'Waitermate1" for the Username
11. Type "Posman12" for the Password
12. Press Save
13. Press "Additional Options"
14. Go to "Friendly Name"
15. Type "Waitermate1" and press "Done"
16. Press back by Pressing "Desktop" at the top left hand corner
17. Press "Save" at the top right hand corner
18. Connect to the Remote Desktop Session by pressing the creating connection
19. Press "Accept" to the verify prompt
20. Wait for Waitermate to load and then you will be able to login
Handy Hint: Ensure to press the top middle bar to change the touch method to "Touch".
