Who are Deliverect?
Deliverect integrates with multiple online ordering providers such as Uber, Deliveroo and Doordash so that venues can manage menus and online orders for each provider in the one place. Deliverect have partnered with OrderMate to build a reliable two-way integration to connect these platforms to the OrderMate system.
What the integration does
-
Online Orders from Deliverect channels are received directly into WaiterMate without the need to manually process any orders in the POS
-
Orders are automatically pushed straight to the kitchen and printed in one standardised format
-
Deliverect orders arrive in OrderMate as paid using the Internet Prepayment payment type
-
The ETA of delivery orders is set in Deliverect and updates OrderMate
-
The OrderMate menu is synced to Deliverect and can then be customised in the Deliverect platform, per channel
-
Flat price combos are included in the menu sync
-
Modifiers such as options, plus's and minis's can be included/excluded in the menu sync
-
Product snoozing allows products to be marked as unavailable in Deliverect channels using the item countdown feature in both WaterMate and in OfficeMate
Managing Deliverect Orders in WaiterMate
Once an order is received through the Deliverect integration, it can be seen in the 'Online' tab in WaiterMate (see below). The orders will be labeled with the Delivery provider name ie. Uber Eats, MenuLog, DoorDash so that they can be identified easily. However the best place to view the order information or details, is generally by using the Deliverect - Delivery Manager App (DMA).
Deliverect orders come into the system as delivery orders, so they need to be handled the same way as normal OrderMate deliveries. This may include assigning to a delivery driver, returning the driver and also settling the deliveries.

Viewing Deliverect Prep Dockets
As orders are automatically accepted in OrderMate through the Deliverect integration, they will also automatically print a prep docket the same way that a manually entered order would print. The dockets will look the same as a usual delivery order, with the following differences;
- From - The Online Order Provider name
- Comment - The customer name (if provided) and any other details attached to the order will be included in the Comment section of the prep docket
- Phone Masking Code - This is the code provided by MenuLog so that the venue can contact the customer *See MenuLog for more information
- Ext Ref - This is the order reference number that is provided to the delivery driver from the online order provider that they will use when collecting the delivery
Keeping Track of Payments
Deliverect orders come into the OrderMate system as paid orders, so a payment type is automatically applied to pay them off in OrderMate also. This payment will automatically use the 'Internet Prepayment' payment type (as shown below). These payments will also be visible in the 'Takings This Terminal Report' so that they can be reconciled against the online ordering platforms.
Getting the Menu Ready
Prior to the Deliverect integration being configured, it is recommended that a dedicated price level in OrderMate is created. This provides the ability to be able to customise the products in the Deliverect menu sync, such as different prices or items being included or excluded.

Setting up Combos
Combos are a way to bundle menu items together to be sold as a special price or deal within the OrderMate system. Flat price combos can be included in the Deliverect menu sync and are a simple and easy way to set up any online promotions.

Sync your Menu with Deliverect
Whenever you make any changes to the products within your POS, you will need to sync these changes to your Deliverect account. This allows you to update any existing products, add or remove products, and prevent orders from failing.

Product Snoozing
Product snoozing allows products to be marked as unavailable in Deliverect channels, effectively removing them from sale in the online ordering platforms. With the OrderMate Deliverect integration, products can be snoozed using the item countdown feature in both WaterMate and in OfficeMate.
