If you have an error message saying 'Sign On Failed - No WiFi Network' on your Tyro Terminal it means your Tyro Terminal is failing/has failed to connect/re-connect to your WiFi Network.
Step 1 - Resolving the error on a Yoximo Tyro Terminal
- Select the WiFi network you wish to connect to
- You will be asked to enter your passphrase – this is the password for your WiFi Network. Ensure to enter the password as it is displayed, all WiFi passwords are case sensitive and will need to be entered onto the terminal as such to connect correctly
- If the WIFI network is a Hidden Network, the details can be entered manually by selecting Menu > Network Setup > WiFi Manual
- Enter your WiFi SSID (the name of your WiFi Network) which is case sensitive
- Select the appropriate Security Encryption (this can be verified on your Router with your IT or Internet Provider)
- Enter your WiFi password which is case sensitive
- You will be asked to select 'DHCP' or 'Static'. The safe option is 'DHCP', alternatively you can select 'Static' if you wish for a more advanced network configuration.
- After choosing your option, select 'Finish' – the terminal will restart and connect to WiFi going forward.
Step 2 - Resolving the error on a Xentissimo Tyro Terminal
- Press Menu > Set Up Wizard > WiFi Scan
- Select the WiFi network you wish to connect to
- You will be asked to enter your passphrase – this is the password for your WiFi Network. Ensure to enter the password as it is displayed, all WiFi passwords are case sensitive and will need to be entered onto the terminal as such to connect correctly
- If the WIFI network is a Hidden Network, the details can be entered manually by selecting Menu > Set Up Wizard > WiFi Manual
- Enter your WiFi SSID (the name of your WiFi Network) which is case sensitive
- Select the appropriate Security Encryption (this can be verified on your Router with your IT or Internet Provider)
- Enter your WiFi password which is case sensitive
- You will be asked to select 'DHCP' or 'Static'. The safe option is 'DHCP', alternatively you can select 'Static' if you wish for a more advanced network configuration.

If you are using either of the Tyro Terminals and it has successfully connected to this particular WiFi Network please:
- Reboot your Internet Router
- Reboot your Tyro Terminal by holding the yellow 'Corr' key until it says ' Reboot Now' then release the key and allow the reboot
- Ensure WiFi/Router is working e.g. try connecting a separate mobile phone, PC or laptop to the same WiFi Network and load http://www.tyro.com/selftest
- Double check your WiFi password then re-enter it into terminal: Menu > Network Setup > WiFi Scan for your Yoximo or Menu > Set Up Wizard > WiFi Scan for your Xentissimo then press Update Configuration (do not press 'Connect') > Re-enter your WiFi password
