The 'Sales and Takings Analysis' is one of the more detailed reports in OfficeMate, and looks at sales and takings information, inclusive and exclusive tax amounts, and a full breakdown of these figures across all modules and account types of WaiterMate.
This report is a great resource for bookkeepers and accountants, and is a good tool for looking at a venue's full detailed financials.
Step 1 - Generating the Report
The 'Sales and Takings Analysis' report can be found in OfficeMate under the 'Reports' section.
Navigate to the ‘Sales and Takings Analysis’ report using by typing the report name into the search field on the navigation panel of OfficeMate.
Step 2 - Using Filters and Options
At the top of the page, there are two drop-downs to set the date range of the report. Select these and wait for the report to generate. There are some preset values for these date ranges, which can be found in the drop-down to the right.
Step 2 - Reading the Report
The sales information for the dates selected will be on the left side of the report, and the takings information will appear on the right.
Note: Report taking a while to load? Don't worry! The 'Sales and Takings Analysis' report is very detailed and can take a little longer than usual to load if a wide date range is selected.
Once complete, each day is separated onto it's own line in the report in a grid format, or generate the report in a PDF format by clicking on the "Report" tab at the top of the page.
