When you may need to update your Tyro certificate
As of early June, 2016, Tyro updated their security certificate. The OrderMate system needs to accept the new certificate.
WaiterMate will place a message on the screen if the certificate was updated on Tyro's servers after you have previously used the EFTPOS for the day.
How to update the Tyro Certificate
You will need to go System admin and restart WaiterMate. This will clear out the previous certificate in the system.
When you do your first transaction on the Tyro EFTPOS after the certificate is updated on their servers, the system will prompt to confirm the new certificate. You will need to press Yes.
WaiterMate may also ask to store the certificate on WaiterMate. You need to select Yes for this too.
Once this is done, the Tyro EFTPOS terminal will be paired with the WaiterMate terminal again, and will be able to process EFTPOS directly again.
This will need to be done on each WaiterMate terminal that you can pay off to Tyro EFTPOS.
