From the customers screen in OfficeMate you can select the "advanced" search. This will allow you to search for frequent or missing customers.
How It Works
What Frequent/Missing customers do is given a time range (eg: 4 weeks) and a unit of time (eg: week) it will check that a customer has made a purchase for each split.
When we get that data – we do a check to see if they are frequent or missing like so.
$ = customer purchased
Week 4(This Week)
|John||$||-||$||-||John has not spent this week - he will show in the missing search but not frequent.|
|Paul||$||$||$||$||Paul has spent this week but is not frequent - he will not show in either because user was not consistent enough during the period of search.|
|George||$||-||$||$||George is frequent, and is not missing - he will show up in the frequent search but not missing one.|
|Ringo||$||$||$||-||Ringo is missing and not frequent - he will not show in either search because he was not consistent enough during the period of search.|
"Frequent customers" must have ordered each week prior to the current week and including the current week.
"Missing customers" must have ordered each week prior to the current week but not yet during the current week.
Searching through missing customers is a great way to narrow down customers to market to via SMS or email. These are customers who will most likely come in if you market to them.
