Summary
WaiterMate can be used to quickly and easily transfer stock from one area to another when using multi-location stock control. The transfer process allows multiple staff members from the different areas to perform steps in the process with each step being tracked in the transaction journal.
Stock Transfer Process
When completing a stock requisition in WaiterMate, there are a few steps in the workflow. They are:
Requested | The staff member who is initiating the stock transfer will create a new requisition. They will add items to the stock requisition using either the par levels, or by manually selecting items required. |
Picking | The staff member fulfilling the stock requisition will need to check over the stock requested (perhaps print the requisition list) and then "Accept" the stock requisition. When it has been accepted the requisition will be moved into the "Picking" state. |
Transferred | When the stock arrives at it's final destination, the staff member receiving the stock will press the "Transfer" button. This will move the stock from one location to another in the multi-location stock holding system and complete the process. |
