From time to time, you may have the need to make a one-off adjustment to your opening hours. You can easily add in an additional time rule that will override your standard everyday hours.
Some examples where you may find this useful:
- Extended trading hours over a peak period
- Closing early for the day as a one-off
- Closing for a public holiday
Adding in a one-off time rule
Log into the OrderMate Online admin using your email address and password.
Navigate to "Locations and Devices" > "Opening Hours" using the navigation bar at the top.
On the left, you will see all time periods that you currently have setup. Select the time period that you want to alter.
Most commonly, there will only be one time period here. If you offer many fulfilment types with differing hours (such as pickup/delivery/room service/dine in) you may have a couple here for those different fulfilment types.
You will now see all of the time rules that have been setup for this particular time period. Time rules are given a weight in order to set the order that they apply. Time rules with a higher weight will always override rules with a lower weight.
Scroll to the bottom and add a new time rule.
- Give it a description.
- Select open or closed.
- Set the start and end time.
- Select the day/dates that the time rule will apply.
- Add a weight (the weight must be higher than that of the existing time rules so that it will override them)
For Example: Closing early for one particular day (Sunday 19th June).
Be sure to click "save" at the top of the page when you're done. Your changes will take affect next time a visitor opens your OrderMate Online page.
